COR Show Jumping

The objective of show jumping is to provide for members competitions which will be competitive, encourage a high standard of riding and will provide a complete understanding of the EC Jumper Rules. (See Section G)

COR offers show jumping to all its fully tested members in good standing who meet division eligibility requirements where applicable. At present, there are eleven divisions offered ranging from four non-qualifying Pre-Entry divisions to seven qualifying divisions.

The purpose of the Pre-Entry divisions is to introduce new, less experienced pony clubbers to show jumping. Pre-Entry is broken down into four divisions based on pony club level and horse/rider experience. For each division there is first a warm-up round which is judged but there is no placings offered other than recognition for clear rounds. This is followed by a Medal class which includes over fences and flat portions. Lastly there is a Table AM5 class consisting of a single round with a timed jump-off if necessary.
